We understand that high wind conditions can be a concern for our customers when using our wind release sign. Therefore, we have created a separate section in our limited liability warranty that specifically addresses this issue.

High wind conditions can cause damage to any outdoor fixture, including our wind release sign. While our sign is designed to withstand normal weather conditions, it is important to take extra precautions during high winds. We recommend that you take the following steps to minimize the risk of damage:

Secure the sign properly: Make sure that the wind release sign is installed correctly and securely. Check that all hose clamps, ratchet straps, bolts and nuts are tightened properly and that the sign is properly anchored to its mount and secured to the light pole correctly.

Inspect your light poles prior to ordering and installing your wind release signs, Check for unusual ware, rust on poles, nuts, bolts, any damage, base issues like cracks, etc. or any other potential issues relating to potential weakness in the pole, base, ground, etc. Check with your light pole manufacturer for light pole strength ratings and recommendations for signage.

Inspect the sign regularly: Regularly inspect the sign for any signs of damage, such as cracks or bends in the frame, spring damage, bent graphics, loose nuts and bolts. If you notice any damage, stop using the sign immediately and contact us.

In the unlikely event that your wind release sign does sustain damage during high wind conditions, please contact us immediately at sales@windigosigns.com. We will work with you to determine the best course of action and provide you with replacement parts as needed.

We hope that this section of our warranty provides you with the information you need to use your wind release sign safely and effectively in high wind conditions.
