The MURS-V2 is a high-powered radio that operates on VHF channels uses the maximum allowed output power of 2W. Unlike UHF channels, which are commonly used by consumer radios such as FRS and GMRS, VHF frequencies are known for their ability to transmit over greater distances in open spaces. This makes the MURS-V2 an ideal choice for environments like warehouses or other similar open spaces.
The MURS-V2 has a semi-duplex built-in receiver that can monitor two channels simultaneously. It has two push-to-talk buttons, with the upper button transmitting on the upper display and the lower button on the lower display.
