The MPR-AF1 is the most functional and easy-to-use pocket radio. Starting with the design of the MPR-AF1, our designers rounded the full case on the MPR-AF1 to easily slide into your pocket. Most pocket radios are square with edges that catch on the pockets; while the MPR-AF1 glides effortlessly.
While our engineers were designing the MPR-AF1, we found that the reception can be limited when relying on only an internal antenna. Using an innovative solution, we engineered the headphone jack to use the wires of your favorite headphones to act as an external antenna while still providing crisp stereo audio. This innovative solution allows our MPR-AF1 to achieve the best possible reception without a fixed stationary antenna; allowing the MPR-AF1 to easily be used while you are on the go.
Operating the MPR-AF1 is easy and straight-forward. By simply looking at the easy-to-use input keys: it becomes immediately clear on how our pocket radio operates. Buttons are distinct, large and placed in such a way that makes it extremely easy to use. The MPR-AF1 allows you to lock the keypad to prevent any modifications while you are on the go.
The MPR-AF1 can store up to 58 of your favorite channels in its preset channel memory bank. Traveling? By the press of a button the MPR-AF1 can scan the full FM or AM band and find the available local stations and put them into the memory bank – allowing you to easily find your favorite station while on the go.
The MPR-AF1 includes two different styles of earbuds, allowing you to pick the most comfortable way to use your mini pocket radio. Or you can pair the MPR-AF1 with your favorite headphones (such as Bose noise cancelling headphones) or even an external speaker. The MPR-AF1 uses a standard 3.5mm stereo headphone jack.
The Backlit LCD makes the MPR-AF1 easy to use, even in the dark. The MPR-AF1 has a built-in clock to conveniently display the time while powered off. You can set the radio to automatically power off with a sleep timer. Use the sleep timer to set a time limit to your next workout or fall asleep knowing the MPR-AF1 will prolong the battery life by automatically turning off.
